A Columbus win would mean the Explorers become only the 2nd team in SFL history to repeat as conference champions. They would also have a shot at becoming the first team to win back to back SFL Championships.
Anthony Calvillo would become the first SFL quarterback to play in three SFL Championship games and would have a shot at becoming the first to win three.
